Positive 21 counselling services

Positive 21 runs a free counselling service which is run by Rich who is the group counsellor. The one to one counselling services on offer are for group members only.

Rich is a qualified counsellor registered with the BACP, which means he has been trained to a high standard and adheres to an ethical framework. (More information available at www.bacp.co.uk) The style of counselling is Gestalt/Humanistic theory which means he works on the issues that the client wants to work on and he also uses a range of creative methods to help in the counselling process.

Rich is experienced at working with LGBT clients, people suffering from anxiety, young people and people seeking bereavement counselling.

To take advantage of the counselling service group members should call the Positive 21 number to make an appointment for an initial consultation, following which a course plan will be drawn up as to how the issues/problems can be addressed. There is a commitment requirement to attend regular weekly sessions on Tuesday evenings. Counselling services are free to group members.
